Gramm-Leach-Bliley Compliance Plan

The Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) is a law that applies to financial institutions.  The law includes privacy and information security provisions that are designed to protect consumer financial data. This law applies to how the University of California collects, stores, and uses student financial records containing personally identifiable information (e.g., Institutional Information regarding tuition payments and/or financial aid).

UC developed a compliance plan that is based on IS-3, that all Locations should use.
